A new Green Cycle with our European volunteers

A new Green Cycle with our European volunteers

Sunday the 12th was a very special day for our community at Semillistas: we welcomed twelve young people from the European Solidarity Corps who will accompany us for the next two months in Órgiva! These volunteers are full of energy, eager to learn and above all, with the enthusiasm to make a difference in the reforestation and regeneration of our forests.

During these weeks, they will not only work hand in hand with us in field activities, but will also receive training in innovative methodologies of direct planting, care for the environment and the importance of creating community. We are dedicating this first week to introducing them to our project and preparing them to apply what they have learned, both here and in their home communities.

The most exciting thing about this experience is that we are not only restoring forests; we are also planting seeds of awareness, action and change in those who will be ambassadors for the environment in other corners of the world.

Soon we will tell you more about their experience and the progress we make together. Don’t miss out on this green adventure that is just beginning!

Thank you for being part of this mission of hope and climate action.
