Crowdfunding for Sierra de los Guájares!

Crowdfunding for Sierra de los Guájares!

At Semillistas, we are excited to announce the launch of our crowdfunding campaign on the Goteo platform. This project is our response to the devastating fire of 2022 that devastated more than 5,000 hectares of the Sierra de los Guájares. But we are not giving up: we want to bring plant life back to this special area 🌳💚.

Our goal is ambitious, but necessary: to plant 50,000 native trees (holm oaks, kermes oaks and gall oaks) to restore the ecosystem and make it more resilient to future fires. We will do this in an innovative way, using biotechnologies that improve the viability of the seeds in our semi-arid climate.

But this project is not just about planting trees. We want it to be a community effort that involves everyone. That’s why, in addition to reforestation actions, we organise volunteer days, educational workshops and talks to reflect on the importance of caring for our Mediterranean forest.

💚 How can you help?

  • Donate to our campaign so that we can finance this green dream (you can claim back 80% of what you donate in your 2025 tax return up to 250€).
  • Share this initiative with your friends, family or on your social media.

By involving local businesses, volunteers, students and local people, we want to build a community committed to the conservation of our natural resources. Together we can turn this challenge into an opportunity to regenerate not only a forest, but also our bond with nature 🌍✨.

If you want to know more about the project, feel free to write to us or go to our Goteo page, thank you for being part of the change!
