Sowing results in “Olias1”

We would like to show you the results of the sowings of February 2023 in the plot known as “Olías 1”, of less than 1 hectare at an altitude of 1000 metres in Sierra Lújar.
It is fenced in by an electric shepherd to deter wild boars. The sowings were also carried out with protection designed by Semillistas: cones and wire mesh.
In total there were 578 hits with two acorns each, and a total of 459 trees established after the first summer!
We observed a big difference between the extremely rocky parts of the plot (30% survival before summer) and the parts with less rock (78% survival).
